Newton is clearly the only person that belongs in that class of players and even then, Miller, Green, Smith and Watt are arguably more valuable. And Mayock was hardly alone on not like Newton.

What I'm trying to say is that he really didn't miss by much, did he? He believed Gabbert could be developed to overcome shortcomings that he clearly identified - it didn't happen (and the Jags are at least partially responsible for that).

It wasn't a JaMarcus Russel will be the next Elway style ****up...
This. I think Mayock is one of the better ones when it comes to talking about QBs.
