Alex Smith is the QB for the Chiefs. He's a risk-averse, efficient game manager. No one claimed he was Aaron Rodgers or Drew Brees.
I find it completely unnecessary to bring that up in every conversation.
Our current offense is a gigantic cluster****. There's no true slot receiver, the tight ends were literally signed off the street, the rookie right tackle woudn't be starting had he not been the number one overall selection and the interior offensive line has issues.
In all honesty, it's hard to believe that this team is 3-0, let alone, talk about a Super Bowl.

So are you saying that once we have great TEs, a probowl slot receiver, and the Vermeil era Oline, Alex Smith will be more than a sub 300 yard QB?
