Chainfire at xda has been working on an app for Canon EOS DSLR. (Don't know what your camera is. Waiting on something for my Nikon.) Awesome app.

Don't know anything about the Toshiba Thrive.

Just did this over the weekend on my Xoom, guessing it will work on most Tegra units though (know it works on the Atrix) if something like this is important to people looking at different tablets...
