They tried the wings and it didnt look so hot. Also in some of the modern animation he didnt have the wings back in WWII. I have to respectfully disagree with some on here. I think the costume is spot on perfect for the time of the movie. The movie will begin in the modern era and most of the movie will be a flashback history. It will then end back in todays world with The Avengers being the next step.
