The mascot was being reckless. You're not going to poke out an eye by just casually throwing hot dogs in the air.
And he wasn't paying attention to a dumbshit between innings contest. It's not like he got hit with a baseball.
This was absolutely the right outcome. It sucks the royals took one on the chin for a mascots incompetence.
