Fair enough, I guess I thought I was just stating the obvious about Jaime. He's not dead, he's an extremely valuable hostage, so of course he still has a role in the story. Non-readers will find out what happens to him as the show moves along. I wasn't trying to spoil anything and gave no hints about what happens to him going forward.

I guess my point is that if someone really wants a thread that specifically discusses the show without any mention of the books, even if book discussions are limited to the point where the show is at, then that should probably be a different thread because that is pretty narrow and specific. 90% of the non-readers I know who watch the show like getting a litttle more information and back story filled in by book readers without having to go and actually read the books themselves, and the OP clearly intended for that to happen in this thread if you read the original post. I think the whiners are in the significant minority on this issue (assuming no spoilers for future events are posted). It's not like non-readers can go to the spoiler thread for that type of information because it has spoilers from all the books in it and definitely discusses future events.
