I probably would if Sony still produced them. Now, I figure a 40 gig PS3, MGS4 and a DS3 would run me $515, so I might as well wait for the 80 gig bundle.

The bundle is definitely real
(pic) (talk about press release here), the release date just hasn't been confirmed in a press release.
However, word from the Destination Playstation retailer conference today is that MGS4 is dropping June 12th. I'd guess that the bundle would at worst drop the same month, but I'd assume day and date with MGS4's release.
