Basically, Trent owns Alex Smith in every way.

The Coryell offense has ALWAYS been about throwing the ball downfield, whether it was Dan Fouts or Kurt Warner or Trent Green, etc. and so on.
The WCO envisioned by Bill Walsh is about short and intermediate passing and getting the ball into the hands of the receivers, who in turn make the plays.
