You've only got 45 guys. You put the best players out there to perform the tasks necessary to win the game. You can't sit there and think "well, this guy plays 60 snaps a game on offense, running down the field and blocking, and he's the best guy to put on PAT, which is like 5 snaps per game -- but WHAT IF HE GETS HURT ON PAT DUTY?!?!"
Any player can get hurt on any play. That's the reality of the NFL. Sometimes shit happens.
