Well, Grindhouse was supposed to be over the top. That was the point. And Robert Rodriguez might be to blame for that anyway. I guess they co-wrote both, but Rodriguez directed Planet Terror. Personally, I thought both movies were a lot of fun.
That said, I'm
really looking forward to this. And I don't think you have anything to worry about.
