I don't believe that San Diego's line has been as bad as advertised.

Rivers lost his best receiver, his running back has been garbage and Antonio Gates play completely dropped off in 2012. The Chargers have had just an average wide receiving corp since Jackson's departure.

Personally, I think it has to do more with the fact that Rivers is declining, the players tuned out Norv and the personnel decisions have been poor.
