Went to MC last weekend and while it was good, it was just. . . there. The beans were great, but the meat was indistinguishable from any smoked meat available anywhere [including 'famed' baby back ribs]. The burnt ends ranged from dry and crispy to fatty and mushy. The fatty bits I could've replicated with a crockpot and a slow afternoon.
And I've never been a big fan of their sauce, but this time I swear it was tomato soup with a dash of chili powder.
That spicy sauce at OKJoe's OTOH, yowza!!!

Yeah, I had the burnt ends and ham. Both were terrible. Looked like they had been under a heat lamp for hours. The beans were great, of course.
