How is that a change from now? They can get their scholarships taken away just as easily.

Why not? The low level players would just get enough to cover their school expenses. The high level players like Manziel, Bridgewater etc, would get considerably more.

And they should get more.
When you are directly fueling a multibillion dollar industry, you deserve more than a $30k scholarship. When a player like Manziel is directly responsible for tens of millions of dollars going to the school, no, a scholarship isn't enough.
