Reading this makes me glad we don't have a garbage disposal.
Don't really need one though. Meat scraps are eaten by the dog and/or cats and vegetation scraps are thrown on the compost pile. Since we have a septic tank, I try to put as little as possible down the drain.
My MIL dumps cooking grease straight down the drain.
I had to break my wife of that habit.
