Are the Chiefs going to lose any players this offseason that they can't come close to replacing effectively? I'd say no. Are they going to gain some players who are definite upgrades at some positions? I would say yes.
Mahomes will have some growing moments, but he's also gifted an offensive surrounding cast that very, very few young QBs ever see because they are usually on horrible teams.
I don't see Patrick being so bad that they start losing a bunch of games, and I don't see the rest of the roster getting worse. Maybe I'll be wrong, but that's how I look at this. |
