if Cunningham and his skill set played in this current era today he would be looked at like a god.
That era was rare for a player like Cunningham, skin color, skillset, etc. He was a trendsetter for QBs of that talent and a role model for many guys to think they could play QB like that.
I know we dont take influence into account, but he was the first of his style and in the 80s/90s caught a lot of heat in that era of football for not being like the Montanas, Aikmans, Kellys, Simms who was that image America wanted in their QB promotion of their favorite team at the time.
Now you can market RG3, Cam Newton, etc and make ****ing millions of dollars. A dream.
