I'm a regular at Gold's Gym, I've been through personal training, and I've kept an eye on other training sessions. There's a reason why the people who've studied and have degrees on the subject start off obese people on the treadmill and running circuits. The calorie burn you are going to get from lifting weights cannot come close to the calorie burn you get from cardio.
