I was at Beaver Lake in Arkansas a couple of years ago. It's got some pretty clear water too. I guess there are a lot of people that scuba dive in it. I personally know a couple of people who got their scuba certification there.

You should check it out. Amazing Striper and smallmouth fishing. I caught several smallmouth one weekend. The state record striper was caught out of there a few times. But I think another lake owns it now. Wilson is probably about 3 1/2- 4 hours away from KC.
