Quibbling on a technicality.
Gum disease, tooth decay, it's all the same.
Your cat or dog is NOT going to die if you don't get their teeth cleaned twice a year. In fact, they have a much higher percentage chance of dying from the anesthesia than from not having their teeth cleaned.
Unfortunately, Laz found that out the hard way.
