Well, using heat of any kind on the CPU (when laying down it is one the right half of your box) will result in the unit automatically cutting power to both the CPU and the GPU, but yes, heat should help ruin your box at a faster rate.
I guess just simulate the way most of the others got the RRoD... lay it down on carpet in a closed space or possibly under a towel or something, and leave it running or play it for hours at a time. I guess that would be the best way.
