So, sure, they'll have a Bourne feel to them, but that doesn't mean they'll be Bourne clones. As stated before, I don't see any danger of confusing the two characters, or the overarching storylines.

Your exactly right. Bond films have adapted to nearly every fad at different time periods.
It was Man with the Golden Gun though, that had the early 70s Kung Fu vibe.
