B) As a 2-gap NT, his talent was going to be wasted. The concerns were legitimate at the time. However, as a 1-gap guy is an absolute behemoth.
I'll admit that I preferred Brockers to Poe because I thought Poe was the kind of guy you take in the 2nd (insane talent, poor production). 11 overall seemed way too high for a 2-gap NT that struggled to get off the ball and play with proper leverage.
Fortunately, the scheme change has helped and allows him to use some of that freakish agility. He's still a little slow off the ball, but now that he's allowed to shoot that gap and attack rather than just plow into the G/C, he can make things happen even when his technique is less than ideal.

He worked his ass off in the off season too to slim down. A good combination!! Glad we have him over the Donks.
