Beasley deal is dead.
It kinda takes the starch out of the other 2 deals. The Lakers remain playoff fodder without an additional scorer. That team just has no depth at all and they can't continue to start Ron Artest. Beasley as an oversized 3 that routes shooters into the middle for cleanup work by Bynum/Gasol would've been a very nice addition that could have made them favorites out of the West.
Now they'll probably still check out in the 2nd.

I'm not too heartbroken over Beasley. Sessions will add some more offense and Jordan Hill gives the front court some depth. McBob can get some minutes at 3 now.
This Laker team constructed right now is far better than the one that lost to the Mavs last year.
