Who does he want at QB, because he's shown questionable taste and his success is built on QBs with mobility, which isn't the QB model I want to be following. And how much say does he have in personnel, because he's not exactly the best judge of talent.

Those are really important questions. It's a good move if it's Reid + Rivera + Heckert. Run for the hills if it's Reid + Bowles or any other project + Reid calling most of the personnel shots.
