I saw Prometheus in the theater, and was thoroughly unimpressed. I decided to pick it up on blue-ray to give it another chance. I even watched Alien from the blue ray quadrology, which I highly recommend.
After watching Promo for a second time, I'm convinced that this is not a prequel to Alien.. and to go one step further, its best to watch this movie not knowing ANYTHING about the original Alien.
In original Alien the Jockey thing was straight up attached to the chair, and had a elephant trunk looking bone from its nose/mouth. Not a damn mask/helmet like Prometheus. Not to mention the helmet in promo has eye holes on the side of the helmet.. how can the jockeys see out if there eyes are in the front, not sides.
