I think you're misunderstanding. Would I normally eat a Weight Watcher's Ice Cream cone? Hell no. They're not good. But, if you're doing an experiment where you're trying to follow the diet as prescribed to see how it works, and it said you had to have X amount of macronutrients, you'd eat whatever works and tastes relatively good to hit that goal if you wanted to truly test the diet. Hence the low-fat, high sugar ice cream . . . because it fits the macros.
