Washington may end up the biggest loss of the lot. His deep speed is really making defenses play off us. They have to give him so much respect that it opens up all kinds of plays underneath to guys like Lucas and Sasser.

DGB will probably step into his role next year with Sasser stepping into Lucas's, but we're so effective right now because of the depth of the weapons in the WR corps. After DGB and Sasser, things get a little thin. Maybe Hunt makes the leap, but that's pretty hopeful. Sure, we may have some redshirts that are playing well, but so did GA and they looked completely out of their depth against us.

There's no substitute for game experience. Our WRs are likely to take quite a step back next year. Mauk will need to be extremely sharp to make up for that, IMO.
I have quite a bit of confidence in Jimmie Hunt. He's been a high-level performer in limited game action... you're talking about a guy who has averaged almost 16 YPC in his career with 5 TDs (in 28 career catches). He's a playmaker.

Darius White and Levi Copelin are also playing quite a bit. That's one benefit of rotating so many WRs... get a lot of PT for your backups.

I think DGB/Sasser/Hunt/Moore is a different matchup for teams, but the nice thing about having DGB is that most of your other guys are going to face single coverage. I expect the WRs to take a bit of a step back, but it still should be a good and productive unit.

The reports on Moore have been so positive, it's hard to NOT be excited, but you are right that we will have to see it on the field before completely buying it.
