With the 6th pick in the 2014 NFl draft, the Atlanta Falcons select:
Khalil Mack, OLB/DE, Buffalo
The Falcons should be ecstatic if the draft turned out this way. They get a great player who fills a position of need and allows them to run a versatile scheme as Mack is very similar to Von Miller in his ability to play both stand-up LB and rush from a 3 point stance. The Falcons need pass rush help in the worst way and Mack provides them with that and more as the 2nd best defensive prospect, in my opinion, in this draft. He was one of my top 3 players and I couldn't pass on him for the Falcons.

If you put the tape on against Ohio State, he dominates Ohio State like nobody I’ve ever seen dominate them. He’s explosive off the edge, he’s tough, he’s twitchy, he’s got a little edge about him. When I watch him on tape I feel like he’s pissed off at the world, and I like that. Then you put on a tape, I think it was Kent State, and he drops into coverage like a safety, reads the quarterback’s eyes, undercuts a route, one-handed interception.”
