Well yeah, if you are dumb enough to pay month to month for Live, then I don't know what to tell you. It doesn't take rocket science to figure out that with nearly every subscription based site you are going to pay more per month if you do the month to month - it's why they offer you discounts on the cost by doing 6 month/1 year/etc. You can get full year gold memberships for $50 max. With a little searching, most on here find the year memberships for $30-$40.
At $50, you are paying $4.17/month
At $40, you are paying $3.33/month
As for me, I do the family membership. 4 Live accounts, $100/year - which is around $2.09/month for each acct ($8.33 total per month).
Guess that makes me a sheep - just never understood what the big deal was in paying for it when it's so damn cheap.
