Chris Getz' has outperformed Gio not only in the field (Where Getz is just average but Gio is below-average) but also at the plate (.630 OPS for Getz vs. .611 OPS for Gio).

He still sucks, but that doesn't mean he isn't better than any option they have (or have tried to bring in).
