I was as big a Jackson-chaser as anyone, but it has become clear since the season started that he was never more than a pipe dream for ANY AL team.

I have zero doubt he would have signed a fair market long-term contract. KC is just too cheap to offer that deal.
And why must Dayton Moore fix anything? Glass is making money and KC fans happily accept mediocrity.
