First I want to thank everybody for their kind words and thoughts. It has brought a tears to me eyes and we do appreciate all the kind words and prayers.
My mom was only given 1-2 days to live and now she is on Day 5. The last couple of months have been rough for her from going to KU Med to help with her Parkinson's to going to a nursing home to get better and then getting sick. She was diagnosed with toxic megacolon a week ago and she decided that she didn't want to have her colon removed. So the hospital can't do anymore for her so they are kicking us out tomorrow which is ok.
She is going home surrounded by her loved ones and with the care of Hospice.
My only hope is she doesn't suffer and goes into the next life pain free....
