Are they going to lose? Yeah, probably. But let's not act like they're going to be as bad as VaTech in the Suger Bowl, Ohio State against Florida or some of those 'default' Nebraska or OU squads that just got in there on name recognition before losing by 30.

Notre Dame started the season unranked, beat a bunch of quality opponents and earned their shot, which is a damn sight more than most teams over the last decade or two can say.

The haters can lick my taint on this one - there's not been a team in a long time that has fought uphill harder than ND has to get this far. I hope they finish the job.
