People buy the wrong tires. I've put maybe around 10k miles on my tires (Pilot Road 2CT) so far and the back has just barely started to flatten. The back probably has a good season or 2 left.
Just riding on the street? Save yourself some money and get a Pilot Road instead of the Pilot Power.
