Why? It's not a head on crash....you can see that from the fact the trunk(i.e. hood) isn't wrecked. Looks like they came into the tree sideways at I'm guessing high speed.
Too much speed in a MR RWD and tried to turn....didn't have the traction and the rear came loose. Driver was unable to recover and that's all she wrote.
