They are both shitty deals for KC.
The Cassel deal is Pioli's fault. It's probably his biggest mistake and he should be fired for it.
The Jackson deal is not. It was restructured last year with a buy out I believe. Either he will restructure again, or he is out of KC after this season. Even the first contract that was restructued wasn't Pioli's fault. It would have been the same for whoever he picked at #3. Also, he tried to trade back and got no takers. It was well documented. We were screwed from the beginning salary wise with that pick.
