My calendar says 2017, but it could be lying to me
. But seriously, I'm up here in the sticks outside Kirksville . Big part of why things are cheap I suppose. Although I would argue $470/month ain't cheap. Our first home was a 3 bed/ 1 bath ( I did a lot of poopin' outside because there was always someone in the bathroom it seemed
) , just a little farmhouse that was a million years old. But I paid cash for that baby! Owned it the day I walked in the door
Still have it, can't decide what to do with it. It's filling up with crap that should be thrown away at the moment. Damn women anyway
Edit: I did fail to mention we saved for 2 or 3 years before we bought this new place, so we had a decent down payment. As I mentioned, we owned our last house, so we just made ourselves make a house payment to the savings account every month. I would recommend that for anybody looking to buy. It worked out great for us!
