So I was finally able to download and install Black Mesa and have started playing.

First impressions; love it so far. To be fair I am a Half Life / Valve fanboy at heart. But the graphics are good, the atmosphere is a vast improvement from the original.

Only gotten half way through Blast Pit but so far this has not been a disappointment.
