Daniel was a huge part of a developing program, and he will always (correctly) be considered a foundational piece for the program.
Gabbert's win against Oklahoma, however, was just as important as any win Daniel was ever a part of.

Chase Daniel never beat a team half as good as the Oklahoma team Gabbert beat, and Gabbert did it with less talented players.
