No political machinations, no love story, no Gungans, no Jar Jar. Just Anakin's path to the dark side of the Force. And Luke and Leia should have been the product of a one night stand or even better, rape.

I could buy an angry Darth Vader that raped a women who spawned the children that ultimately saved him versus a lovesick douchewad that murdered unsuspecting children.

The prequels just sucked.
That would have been seriously awesome. More fights and emotion. Less poorly executed love.
