So a couple of episodes ago did we not see a Moby Dick reference, and someone say " the whale wins".

Hank's white whale is clearly Walter White or at least his alternate persona.

Hank's obsession has now become his probable downfall. If Walt is exposed then he loses his career, and everything and everyone close to him both at work and in his personal life, as Walt and his family is closest to Hank and Marie.

His obsession isn't simply because of justice because Hank had no issue in overlooking his kleptomaniac wife's own actions which got Skyler arrested, and Marie refused to apologize for or even acknowledge her guilt.
Yes, it's a different scale, but Hank did react just like Skyler to discovery of their spouses criminal activity.

We see now, Marie has threatened to take the kids, and Skyler is now fully behind Walt as the threat to her family is no longer Walt. You'll notice she's dressed up all in tan at the Mexican restaurant, just like Walt. Tan being the neutral color of when Walt was still a good guy, but now that color signifies his mask of simply pretending to be Walter White, as he is now Heisenberg. Confirmed by Skyler knowing about the confession - and a move Walt would have either never done or not told her before.

Also, notice that Marie is not wearing any purple, but is in all black. Another character who was emotionally significant to a key character on the show that I can recall mostly wearing black was Jane. Marie is likely another crossfire causality, just as Jane was as Walter deemed her as a problem with getting in the way of his plan.

I just think the Moby Dick reference foreshadows Hank's obsession consuming him to the point of losing everything and he will not come out on top of Walt. Not to say Walt won't have his falling down moment, but if Jesse is the moral center of the show, and always the 1 guy Walter was depending upon and at the same time most exposed by, then Jesse's awakening to Walt truly breaking bad, is only fitting that his closest ally and loose end be the instrument of his downfall.
