today? I'll be honest. I think it is pretty flukey they lost this game. Ryan played hurt on 3rd and 4th down and they could have easily called a PI as well as Douglas not pwnign himself when he broke wide open.

Now do I think Kaep would have led them back down for at least a FG try with 3+ minutes after a Douglas TD?

Absolutely.

But if they picked up the 1st down at the end they would have won that game...and they would have left no time on the clock.

So yeah, Mike Smith definitely needs to look in the mirror and they need to figure out their defense, no doubt. He needs to be a better coach. I don't understand how these teams don't have quality control coaches that are in charge of having these scenarios in place...

I just don't get how Madden players are better clock managers than real life NFL coaches. It's baffling.
