Rany's a hell of a lot more credible than just some dipshit blogger; he knows his stuff and he's known it for a very long time. He and Rob Neyer used to have a column together and it was through that column that Rob Neyer really became well known. Rany took a little longer to hit, but he's every bit valuable a source of information.
