David Glass: YOU GOT TO BE KIDDING ME! Secretary, get Dayton on the phone NOW!
Dayton Moore: You called, sir?
David Glass: Did you just see the news of the latest trade?
Dayton Moore: I believe so. It's hard to believe any franchise could give up so much, isn't it?
David Glass: You bet it is, but that's the beauty of it! Could you imagine if we could unload Butler, Gordon, and all the other high-priced guys we got? We'd be rolling in dough!
Dayton Moore: But sir, that would make our team even worse than it is now, plus we're already doing that, just not as extravagantly as the Marlins.
David Glass: EXACTLY! I won't accept having another franchise cheaper than ours. Work a trade to get rid of the three highest paid guys we got for more minor league prospects. DO IT NOW!
