The SEC's reputation and consistent demolition of other conferences and teams is what causes Florida to jump Michigan in 2006, LSU to merge out of a mess in 2007, Florida to get the nod over USC & Texas in 2008, Bama to get a rematch in 2011, and what would have caused Florida to go this year if Pittsburgh holds on against ND.
