Yeah I agree. It just seems way to short and there is so much more they can do. Personally I thought season 4 was the worst season out of all 3, but I still liked it. Actually, you'll see another 8 episodes from season 4 starting sometime in April or May (depending on how HBO does their scheduling).
The final eight episodes from season three were aired prior to the first 12 episodes of season 4. Season 4 didn't officially begin until June 17th.
Entourage has a 20 episode season (not 12), so season 4 hasn't been shown in its entirety.
