The starting pitching has been the biggest problem and it's gotten better. Probably significantly better. It sucks out loud to lose Myers and Odorizzi but they weren't on the mlb club anyway. There is no silver lining. The team, quite literally, is worse right now. An average RF, which Myers almost certainly would be, is worth more wins than adding Shields to the rotation.
This is so inexplicably stupid that it defies all semblance of reason.
