Instead, he's so unwilling to cede an inch that he obstructed and investigation and lied to the people performing it. That's what he's getting punished for, and it's what he should be punished for.

Except there is no obligation on players to cooperate. No rules at all around that. Not in the CBA.
If the NFL had suspended him for a full season for not turning over a phone, would that be ok? 8 games?
That's part of what the federal case will be about. In the end, we'll see what the judge says.
