I could see taking Flynn in a cynical move to freshen up the place while still planning to do poorly next year and draft the real QBotF, but I really don't expect Flynn to outplay Alex Smith.

You made an excellent point about Dorsey knowing Flynn. But I though Alex was Reid's pick from day 1. Has Dorsey ever divulged who he wanted, or does he just tow the "we were unanimous" line?
