Back to the Future has been mentioned. I saw the first one in the theater but never got around to watching the others. When the trilogy came out on Blu-Ray, I picked it up. Let's just say I am surprised that people are listing the 2nd as the worst. I thought 2 was okay but 3 was awful.
I thought the first Resident Evil was entertaining, but the others sucked, and have gotten worse with each installment.
